Saturday 03/30/13

Fantastic day on the water yesterday.  We had great interaction with five blue sharks in the Blue Water offshore San Diego County.  first individual arrived about two hours and 1.4 N.M. into our drift.  Sharks varied in size from > 3′- 6′ in length.  At one point we had three individuals at once.  They stayed with us for several hours up to making ready to return to port.

Thanks to SD Expeditions Nick LeBeouf, and Kyle McBurnie for the motivation and support for this trip,  Christopher D. Lynch of EverydayCalifornia, Brian Stevens, and Michael Sawer for participating and accommodating me in living my dream.

02/12/12 Shark Chum Trip

Great day of whale sighting, interaction with pods of dolphin, schools of mola mola, comb jellies a couple of sea lions and 14 blue sharks in the blue water.  Check out images taken by Michael Kazma and Guillaume Kirgis.  As always a fantastic group.  Next trip planned for March 25th.

March Bahama trip cancelled

Due to recent request for more SoCal shark, Catalina Island and San Diego area dive trips through March and April I won’t be in the Bahamas as planned.  Too much fun here.  I will be planning a trip to the Northern Bahamas when time is available.  As always thanks for all the support of, interest in, and yellowcharterboat patronage.  You make the dream happen for me.

12/11/11 Blue Water shark charter

Blue Shark Encounter 12-11-11

Great day with two shark encounters.  First was brief thirty minutes after arrival.  Three hours later a  6′ female Blue shark arrived and interacted with us for 1 1/2  hours. Fantastic visibility and rewarding encounter.   Pretty impressive. See more photos in the gallery.
